The ensemble ad libitum was founded in 2022 by Almut Teichert (piano) and David Gromon (flute) initially as a duo. Since 2024, the formation has presented itself as a quartet with vocals (Anita Vozsech), cello (Heinz Moser), piano, and flute.
In this new configuration, ad libitum has already celebrated several major successes and captivates its audience with finely nuanced interpretations and lively joy of playing. The four musicians dedicate themselves passionately to the music of the Baroque and Pre-Classical periods – stylish, expressive, and full of life, with a variety of timbres and a unique sound magic.
