The city's landscape is still shaped by its long and eventful past. Over 400 lovingly restored half-timbered houses form a cohesive ensemble, in the center of which stands the historic town hall - an impressive half-timbered building from the year 1562/68.
Duration: approx. 90 minutes - registration not required
Cost: Adults €8.00 / Children up to 12 years free
Meeting point: Tourist Info, Am Markt 5, 34212 Melsungen
From May to October, every Thursday at 2:00 PM, Saturday at 11:00 AM, and Sunday at 2:00 PM. On public holidays, it is a costume-guided tour.
