Rose and Antique Market

A fine rose market and a traditional antique market transform the southern Münsterplatz into a vibrant ensemble of floral splendor, craftsmanship, and historical treasures. When the southern Münsterplatz turns into a fragrant sea of flowers, it is again Rose Day – a small, exquisite market that has been creating special moments in the heart of Ulm for over two decades. Around 30 regional and national exhibitors present artisanal crafts, natural cosmetics, gourmet products, and selected antiques related to roses. Rose gardeners from southern Germany and the north bring tried-and-true varieties as well as new cultivars – from wild to hybrid to climbing roses. At the same time, the established antique market with over 60 stalls invites visitors to discover furniture, jewelry, books, and historical pieces. The combination of floral diversity, craftsmanship culture, and historically significant finds ideally connects to the experience profile of architectural culture and urban history, as well as the vibrant city scene of the dual-city. Thanks to its location by the Ulm Minster, short distances, and good public transport connections, the visit becomes a relaxed city moment full of regional identity – free of charge and quality-oriented, in line with the positioning as the most modern historic highlight.
