Monasteries and the craft of bookbinding – two terms that were inextricably linked in the Middle Ages. In the monastery, not only were texts copied, but they were also assembled into magnificent books, leaving a treasure trove of knowledge for future generations.
In our workshop today, the focus is not on the content of the books, but on their covers. We will learn how individual sheets come together to create a book, and then we will have the opportunity to handcraft a small notebook ourselves.
Age group: Adults and teenagers from 14 years old
Participants: minimum 5 people, maximum 15 people
Registration by Friday, November 13th
Price: €15 | reduced price €10
