New Jazzport Orchestra - X-Mas Special

When the New JazzPort Orchestra (NJPO) invites you to its annual X-MAS Special, the Caserne transforms into a swinging winter wonderland. However, this year is a little different – and yet wonderfully familiar: Together with the charismatic singer Kai Podack, the NJPO presents a festive Christmas program that will even get the Grinch snapping his fingers. Podack, known for his warm voice, stylish stage presence, and sophisticated arrangements, has put together a jazzy Christmas mix especially for this evening – featuring songs that truly (!) have something to do with Christmas. Yes, you heard that right: this time there are actually Christmas songs – albeit, of course, in the unmistakable NJPO style, turning every "Oh Tannenbaum" into a grooving experience.
