"Botanical Inspiration" with Anne Hess by Kunst in Szene 64

This creative workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to deepen their painting practice and explore the fascinating structures of the plant world. The focus is on working on a series of images: How do you develop a cohesive theme? How do variations arise, and how can the natural diversity of botanical forms be translated into expressive acrylic painting? We will learn to understand botanical structures, develop our own painting series, and gain confidence in using acrylic techniques. Please bring: acrylic paint (good quality), brushes, rags, palette knife, sponge, pencils/charcoal, colored pencils, chalk (optional), binder, and tape. Paper 300 g or canvas paper and at least 3 canvases of the same format up to 30, 40, or 50 x 50 cm. Number of participants: 5-10. Fee: 150 euros including VAT, excluding materials. With Anne Hess. Anne Hess studied architecture in São Paulo. The native Brazilian has been intensively involved with art for 17 years. She works as an art teacher at various schools and has completed several training courses. She has successfully completed professional training as an art therapist.
