Schwetzingen SWR Festival: Delivered to Your Door

Outside the castle walls, the Signum Quartet and the Viatores Quartet will perform at various locations in Schwetzingen. And you can be the host for this! Who wouldn't want to experience classical music and great musicians up close, outside of the concert hall? The Schwetzingen SWR Festival will broadcast into the city for one day in 2026 and will offer four 30-minute short concerts as part of the Quartet Marathon in Schwetzingen. We provide the music – you provide the invitation. Applications can be submitted by clubs, institutions, businesses, or social organizations, as well as private individuals with suitable venues. Weather permitting, individual concerts may also take place in squares, on rooftops, or in gardens. Or in unusual locations where one wouldn't expect a concert. The Signum Quartet, as the resident ensemble, and the Viatores Quartet, as SWR Culture New Talent, will split up and look forward to inspiring encounters.
