Mass for Fools & Transfer of the Groom's Staff to the Groom's Apprentices On Fasnet Sunday, after the Mass for Fools, the Groom's Staff will be ceremoniously handed over by the Guild Master to the Groom's Apprentices. The Chief Groom's Apprentice will lead the traditional round dance with the staff and then invite the first grooms to the Historical Grooming. 09:30 AM Mass for Fools at the St. Johann Parish Church in Sigmaringen 10:45 AM Transfer of the Groom's Staff at the Marketplace, followed by the invitation of this year's grooms by the Groom's Apprentices.
