Conviviality and "skiers' stew" TRADITION: The Sasbachwalden Ski Club is once again inviting everyone to its popular summer festival at the Ochsenstall on August 2 and would be delighted to see a large turnout from the local community. The ski hut at the Ochsenstall can be reached on foot from the "Unterstmatt" in about 20 to 30 minutes. Visitors are requested to use the hiking trails to the Ochsenstall from the Kaltenbrunnen B500 bus stop or the dust-free hiking trail from Unterstmatt. However, there is also a "shuttle service for people with disabilities." Departures are from 11 a.m. as needed at the ticket booth of the Unterstmatt ski lift. Even in warmer temperatures, it is wonderful to relax here under the parasols or in the shade of a canopy. The popular summer festival captivates above all with its incomparable atmosphere in the midst of nature. The active members of the association take care of the guests' physical well-being in their usual manner. Around lunchtime, the legendary "skier's stew" bubbles away on the stove. This is so popular that many guests come back every year especially for it.  Of course, there are also delicious grilled dishes, coffee, and homemade cake specialties, including the Black Forest cake. Thirst is quenched with freshly tapped beer, wine, and sparkling wine from Alde Gott.
