Founded twenty years ago, the legendary Eldis La Rosa Group is now returning to the stage – bringing fresh energy and the unmistakable sound of Cuba along with them. The Cuban multi-instrumentalist Eldis La Rosa reignites Cuban Jazz in Austria. Since the release of his album Trotando (2006), inspired by Paquito D’Rivera's boundless Latin Jazz, La Rosa has evolved his style: powerful Cuban traditions meet contemporary grooves, jazzy freedom, and improvisational wit. As the only Cuban Jazz formation in Austria, the Eldis La Rosa Group returns with mature compositions and a pulsating band sound – a comeback that celebrates all the warmth, intensity, and vibrancy of Cuban Jazz.
