"Francesca or the Jealous Man's Taming" is a comic opera by Gaetano Donizetti that combines everything that characterizes the master of Belcanto: beautiful melodies, virtuosic brilliance, and a great deal of humor.

At the center of the story is a pathologically jealous count who keeps his wife Francesca like a prisoner. However, she is no longer willing to be locked away by her husband...
