Two brilliant ensembles, under the overall direction of Markus Fellner from Rangersdorf, provide a wonderful summery sound experience in the Wirtstadl. The six musicians of Wenn's passt – Musi not only share their roots from Carinthia but also their enthusiasm for traditional folk music. When musical perfection, passion, and friendship come together harmoniously, something special is created, whether it involves original compositions, classics of Alpine folk music, or typical Carinthian songs. A perfect complement to the young instrumentalists are the unique voices of the well-known vocal ensemble Quartett MundART. With the utmost professionalism and unwavering passion, Petra Schnabl-Kuglitsch (alto), Marianne Wienerroither-McArdle (soprano), Franz Mörtl (tenor), and Gerald Karnel (bass) dedicate themselves to singing folk songs, particularly those from the bilingual Gailtal region. The joint concert of the two ensembles is a must for all friends of authentic folk music.
