For the second time, the Vienna Glacis Ensemble is performing in Weiz. Flexibility in the lineup and the skillful selection of forgotten, newly arranged chamber music works are the hallmarks of the ensemble, which includes members of the Vienna Philharmonic, the Lower Austrian Tonkünstler, and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz. In celebration of the anniversary year 2026 - 100 years of Hannes Schwarz - his great-niece, flutist and founder of the ensemble, Doris Haimel, will guide the evening with anecdotes about Hannes Schwarz and the lives of musicians and artists in general. Some of the chamber music favorites of the late honoree, who passed away in 2014, will also be featured in the program. Look forward to a colorful musical bouquet for Hannes Schwarz and a tribute that connects the past and the present.
