Ski Tour Hochkarfelderkopf

From Lungötz in the Lammertal (891m), the route initially goes through the forest, over some hills, until reaching steeper, open terrain. Continuing along the ridge to the summit (2219m). The descent follows the ascent, with an option for a variant route over the Passruckgraben. In total, we will cover 1,473 vertical meters, approximately 4 hours of ascent, and 10.6 km.

Requirements:
1,473 vertical meters of a scenic ski tour with beautiful views and a physical challenge.

Required equipment:
• Backpack
• Touring skis with touring bindings (adjusted to shoe size and body weight)
• Ski poles (possibly adjustable in length)
• Touring ski boots
• (Tension) skins (fitted to the skis)
• Crampons
• Sufficient provisions and fluids
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Sunscreen if necessary

Emergency equipment:
• Avalanche transceiver (modern digital 2- or 3-antenna device, with sufficient batteries (at least 70 percent))
• Avalanche shovel
• Avalanche probe
