"At a Quick Pace to St. Peter" is, on one hand, a composition by Alexander Maurer, which became a sensational success on YouTube through its interpretation by the Kaiser Musikanten – and on the other hand, a beautiful motto for a lively start to the cultural summer of 2026 at the "Wirt zu Sankt Peter." Eight friends, all of whom are musical professionals engaged in renowned Austrian orchestras (ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Tonkünstler Orchestra Lower Austria, Orchestra of the Vienna Volksoper, and the City Theater Klagenfurt), have been captivating their audience for years as the "Kaiser Musikanten" with musical perfection, a variety of sounds, and pronounced joy in playing. In exclusively their own arrangements, they present brass music at the highest level, which connects tradition with modernity in a distinctive style and makes it newly experienceable.
