Lungau Big Band featuring Simone Kopmajer

Rich in facets and with great music, the Lungau Big Band is heading into its forty-third year! Interesting programs, renowned soloists from around the world, and composers invited to write new music have allowed the Lungau Big Band to develop into one of the most active and remarkable jazz ensembles in the country. With alternating thematic focuses, they not only captivate the audience but also keep themselves engaged with a variety of musical challenges in an infectious playing mood! For the current program, Simone Kopmajer and the Lungau Big Band will present both original compositions and classics from the Great American Songbook in new arrangements.
