Your chance to explore the Upper Gate on your own, enjoy the view over the city, and visit the museums in Pfullendorf. On September 13th, the Upper Gate in Pfullendorf will open its doors from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for curious visitors. Everyone can go up to the gate during this time and explore the historical double gate structure. From the 38-meter-high observation tower, you will have a great view over the city. A tour guide will be available on-site as your contact person. The Upper Gate is the last remaining gate of the formerly four city gates. Construction began in the 13th century, but it took on its current form only in 1505. At the same time, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Pfullendorf museums, the Bindhaus (local and crafts museum) & the Alte Haus (museum of city history), will also be open.
