Weißensee Christmas Market

On December 13th and 14th, the historic Runneburg will once again transform into a sparkling winter fairy tale: The Weißensee Christmas Market will open its doors and invite visitors to two atmospheric Advent days.

Saturday: To kick off the event, visitors can expect a varied program: The traditional tower trumpeters will fill the castle with festive sounds, the Dream Magic Tree School will delight children with its Christmas program, and in the evening, a professional fire show will dazzle with spectacular effects.

Sunday: The festivities continue on the second day. The Wiesengrün daycare center will present its lovingly prepared stage program, followed by a colorful laser show that will light up the sky above the Runneburg.

On both days, visitors can look forward to a cozy Christmas café, lovingly decorated stalls with crafts, gift ideas, and culinary delights, mulled wine and food stands, as well as a visit from Santa Claus. There will also be little surprises and the musical performance "The Wonder Chest and the Christmas Glow" for guests of all ages. Those who wish to explore the castle further can also participate in the guided tours offered.
