The actor Philipp Hochmair is one of the most distinctive performers in the German-speaking world. With uncompromising linguistic power and a virtuoso range of voice, he lends a special intensity to his roles. From a long-standing artistic exchange, the idea for the performance "Hochmair, where are you?" emerged, which will be presented as part of the festival. It tells the story of a man who interprets Hofmannsthal's Jedermann as a rock star and Schiller's ballads as ecstatic raves, while becoming unsteady in his search for his own self. An interdisciplinary approach to the human being caught between overwhelm and vulnerability – carried by Hochmair's voice, which becomes the center of a sound metamorphosis amidst electronic beats, distorted guitar, and cello samples.
