With the presentation of his new autobiographical artist book "Father with Color Spots ONE Line – TWO Worlds" published by [edition lex liszt 12] and the opening of his exhibition "Color Spots in Stardust," the artist Klaus Ludwig Kerstinger invites you to an evening where art and life meet in a special way. The book and the exhibition form the core of the event; two artistic expressions that share the same motif yet open different levels.

The transitions between the studio and family life make the book a sensitive testimony to the tension between creativity, responsibility, and self-discovery. The narrative is complemented by song lyrics that act like poetic snapshots – expanding the emotional depth of the story in a musical way. The exhibition "Color Spots in Stardust" opens a view into a play space. Kerstinger's work moves between drawing and painting, between spontaneous gesture and conscious formulation. His lines and color spots emerge in the moment of movement, yet they do not shy away from coding: color, surface, and trace create image spaces where chance and control become effective. Works in which the ephemeral is not captured but celebrated.
