My name is Selina Javaid, I am an artist and educator. My mother is Austrian; she was born in Bad Gastein, and my grandmother, Linde Egger, still lives in Bad Bruck. We visit her every summer and winter. My fondest memories are connected to Gastein. Now I also bring my own family with me every year. It is my dream to exhibit my paintings in Bad Gastein, as I find a lot of inspiration there. I am very pleased that the Hotel Europäischer Hof is showcasing ten large paintings of mine this winter. The series is titled "Nostalgic Design" and features a new collection of works that capture the magic of the forests and mountains of Gastein.
