Strasser Trio "Cello Meets Trombone"

In the repertoire of chamber music, the cello and the trombone are rarely found together. The cello is expected to deliver soft melodies and virtuosic playing, while the trombone is associated with solemn chorales and brilliant chords. The fact that these qualities, especially the warm sound of both instruments, harmonize well together is demonstrated by Theresa, Florian, and Wolfgang Strasser in a trio setting of cello and two trombones.
