Playground stands for jazz that moves – between tradition and modernity, improvisation and groove. The quartet featuring Sascha Otto (saxophone, flute), Heimo Trixner (guitar), Sylvain Deslandes (bass, vocals), and Walter Maderner (drums) transforms well-known jazz standards and original compositions into fresh, vibrant soundscapes.

As a true "working band," Playground integrates a variety of styles into their arrangements: from jazz to delicate country elements to Latin and funk grooves, influences from around the world merge into continually new, surprising listening experiences. Familiar standards are presented in a different, original, and distinctive interpretation.
