Wolfgang Ambros is coming back to Kufstein! After sensational successes in recent years, you can experience Wolfgang Ambros once again with his excellent band at the Fortress Kufstein.
It has been over fifty years since a young man turned the music world upside down: 1971! With a song about a scandalous murder - the brutally slain "Mr. Karl Hofa" - Wolfgang Ambros catapulted himself straight to number 1 on the Austrian charts and laid the foundation for an unparalleled, legendary career.
His incredible talent sent the Viennese singer-songwriter on a career path filled with unforgettable hits and stories that touch millions of fans. In 2026, Wolfgang Ambros - fresh, full of energy, and with his well-rehearsed band behind him - will once again be in full formation in front of his audience!
The setlist is not yet finalized, but it is clear that over 50 years, a lot of hits have accumulated and they deserve to be celebrated. And, of course, the still unsolved murder of Mr. Hofa will be addressed, as well as the self-fulfilling prophecy from 1973. We remember, "I feel like Jesus, my cross hurts so much."
