Cabaret - Christine Eixenberger "Full Control"

Christine Eixenberger takes on many roles, not least her own: After studying to become an elementary school teacher, she transitioned to the stage and quickly followed up with a TV career. For the successful ZDF series "Marie fängt Feuer," she spent several years in front of the camera as a firefighter, and to this day, she captivates audiences with versatile roles in film and television. Among other things, she regularly welcomes colleagues from the cabaret and comedy scene as the host of the BR satire show "Nachsitzen." The full-blooded entertainer passionately showcases her comedic core competency live: She was awarded the Bavarian Cabaret Prize for her multifaceted stage comedy.

In her current solo program, Christine Eixenberger shares what it’s like to no longer be single. The relationship is stable, the housing shortage is real, so her partner moves in with her. "I and You" becomes "We" – with all the consequences. But the artist has this fully under control. Well, almost. With great energy and unwavering optimism, she not only defies the small crises in her newly formed duo household but also the larger ones in the world, because she knows: The big reflects in the small. And vice versa. Artificial intelligence, supply chain bottlenecks, and overwhelming bureaucracy? The pragmatic cabaret artist confronts all of this with a robust craftsman attitude and a biotech lab in her fridge.

As a philosophically inclined member of Generation Y, she constantly asks herself the question of "Why": Why do the Austrians manage to operate a functioning rail network despite topographical obstacles? Why is the hashtag #söderisst often more revealing than "Söder speaks"? And why, damn it, are there still crumbs from breakfast on the dining table, even though it’s already afternoon?
