The four musicians come from Austria, Slovakia, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic – an international quartet that has created its very own sound: harmonized vocals, rapid instrumental passages, and a groove that immediately gets you moving.

What began as a shared passion has long become a flagship of the European bluegrass scene. With mandolin, guitar, banjo, and double bass, Nugget tells their stories – sometimes bluesy and melancholic, sometimes light-footed and wild, but always with heart and precision.

For this special concert, the quartet is joined by Ernst Molden – songwriter, musician, and author with a deep love for Americana music. Together, they present an extraordinary set of bluegrass and old-time classics, which Molden reinterprets with Viennese lyrics.
