Max Hauer returns to the stage with his project Cler & Grätzlorchester, presenting a special double album program. This time, he has completely recorded and produced the albums himself, without bringing in external musicians to the studio.
The first release is the EP "Wanns afoch war würde Fußball haßn," created shortly after the last concert at the Sargfabrik. The songs are lively, direct, and full of energy. The second album, "Kunstfigur," contains 13 new tracks that are rockier and more powerful than previous projects.
The title track "Kunstfigur" reflects on the role of art, artistic figures, and the challenges posed by social media, algorithms, and artificial intelligence. Other songs like "Enchantée" touch on personal experiences, political thoughts, and small life lessons – musically ranging between rock, funk, and folk sounds. The album showcases a journey through the 16th district of Vienna and blends various genres into a cohesive whole.
The Grätzlochester once again consists of various figures from the Austrian music scene: Emily Stewart - violin, Gregor Fussenegger - viola, Lili Weinhandl, Laura Pudelek - cello, Alex Valdés - trumpet, Jakob Mayr - trombone, Florian Fuss - flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, Alex Kerbl - drums. Ivan Beaufils leads the sub-choir and will wonderfully implement Max Hauer's ideas with his singers.
The sub-choir was founded with the intention of bringing those who have always wanted to sing but never dared to do so. It is a collection of enthusiastic singing amateurs and is a truly wonderful thing. Constantly teetering on the edge of worldwide fame, it captivates audiences with its adaptations of well-known and lesser-known hits from various cultural periods and styles, leading to enthusiastic storms of applause during performances.
