Mirkovic & Corvino DUO

Inspired by the ancient poetry of Southeast Europe, Nataša Mirkovic and Pippo Corvino create music that traverses centuries – from Sephardic ballads to songs from Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Macedonia. With voice and guitar, they weave tradition and the present into a sound language that is simple, profound, and imbued with quiet magic.

Mirkovic, a singer, actress, and sound researcher, combines classical music, folk, jazz, and improvisation into a distinctive expressiveness. Corvino, a guitarist and composer straddling jazz, rock, and folk, adds a subtle, often unexpected harmonic breadth to the songs. Together, they create a touching, poetic sound world – intimate, timeless, and full of quiet intensity. A concert that does not need to be loud to resonate long after.
