Michael Köhlmeier speaks with Toni Innauer "Mr. Ski Jumping" - this title is rightly held by Mag. Toni Innauer (born 1958 in Vorarlberg). His time as an athlete, coach, and sports director at the Austrian Ski Federation made him an international icon: Outstanding successes - but also dramatic setbacks - have accompanied him over the years. During his 17-year tenure as sports director, Innauer shaped Nordic skiing like no one else; he passed on his life experience and expertise to the next generation. Today, he is a successful entrepreneur, a successful startup founder with "Saphenus medical technology," author of several books, columnist, a long-time TV expert for ski jumping on ZDF, as well as a sought-after keynote speaker and economic consultant. In the era of Innauer and under his leadership at the Austrian Ski Federation, not only did the 10-year-dominating "Super Eagles" with their coach Alex Pointner develop, but also the group of currently successful Austrian ski jumping coaches both domestically and abroad - such as: Andreas Widhölzl, Alexander Stöckl, Stefan Horngacher, Heinz Kuttin, Andi Felder, or Werner Schuster...
Michael Köhlmeier, born in 1949, studied German studies and political science in Marburg on the Lahn, half-studied mathematics and philosophy in Giessen, is married to the writer Monika Helfer, his son Lorenz is a painter, and his daughter Paula was a writer; she tragically passed away in 2003 at the age of 21. He was temporarily the host of Club 2 on ORF. A selection from his works includes:

- Die Abenteuer des Joel Spazierer (novel)
- Zwei Herren am Strand (novel)
- Bruder und Schwester Lenobel (novel)
- Die Märchen (collection)
- Erwarten Sie nicht, dass ich mich dumm stelle (speeches)
- Matou (novel)
