Dürnstein Classics (Concert with star violinist Ziyu He)

As part of the "Dürnstein Klassik," the young Austrian-Chinese star violinist Ziyu He will perform in the festival hall of the monastery, accompanied by pianist Philipp Kronbichler. The concert will take place on May 23, 2026, at 7 PM.

The program will feature works by W.A. Mozart, Ch.V. Alkan, N. Paganini, and L.v. Beethoven.

In 2014, Ziyu He was named the Eurovision Young Musician of the Year. At the age of 16, he won the international Mozart Competition in Salzburg and the Yehudi Menuhin Competition. By the age of 17 (in 2017), he was one of the youngest soloists with the Vienna Philharmonic.

Tip: Ziyu He will also perform on April 12 at the Vienna Musikverein, as well as on April 13 and 14 in St. Pölten, together with the Tonkünstler Niederösterreich under the direction of Hans Graf.
