The tower on Tuttlingen's local mountain, Honberg, is open from May to September. Small activities for children and families are offered in the small castle courtyard during opening hours. The city of Tuttlingen offers a view of the city from the battlement tower every last Saturday of the month from May to September, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition to the view over Tuttlingen, a small hands-on program is also offered. The view of the city from above not only clearly shows the Uberschen layout of the city center and the stately old and new buildings. Tower keeper Herbert Tiny and Tuttlingen city guides are on hand to answer questions about the castle and the city's history and, for those who are interested, accompany visitors in a few small medieval games of skill.
