From nightclub to convent
Nightclub singer Deloris van Cartier accidentally witnesses a murder after her performance – and suddenly finds herself in the witness protection program. Instead of glamorous stage lights, she is faced with a conservative convent, where she is supposed to hide as a modest nun – much to the dismay of the strict Mother Superior…

In the church choir, the singer is meant to become part of the community, but the nuns don’t hit a single note, so Deloris takes over the leadership. With her, every service becomes an event, and the masses attract more and more audience – but when they are finally set to perform before the Pope, the gangsters catch up with Deloris, and the nuns unexpectedly find themselves in great danger…
