Vienna Choir Girls

The Vienna Choir Girls were founded in 2004 as a counterpart to the Vienna Boys' Choir. What began with a handful of singers has now grown into a professional chamber choir of 25 dedicated young ladies aged between 10 and 14 years. The girls are trained using the methods of the Vienna Boys' Choir. The goal is to achieve a natural, effortless sound and a wide-ranging repertoire.
In autumn 2023, the Vienna Choir Girls received the Austrian Music Theatre Award, and in June 2024, they were awarded the European Culture Prize, together with the Vienna Boys' Choir.
