The French Collectif XY represents a bold fusion of acrobatics, dance, and poetry. Together with choreographer Rachid Ouramdane, the nineteen artists have developed an athletic-choreographic language that makes visible the tension between the individual and the community. Möbius shows the courage to express differences and tells the story of each person's conflict-ridden yet fulfilling journey to find their place within the group.

In Möbius, the artists explore the limits of acrobatics through natural phenomena such as murmurations, which refer to the flight behavior of starlings in flowing movements that come together to form a vibrant flock. The minimalist, flawlessly white stage design opens up a seemingly boundless space that rhythmically fills and empties – a sensitive terrain where nature and culture, body and mind merge.

Möbius is an ode to life and to the necessity of creating together as the foundation for survival, renewal, and invention. This widely acclaimed production has been performed over 300 times in fifteen countries.
