Weekly Market Höchst

On three mornings a week, there is a weekly market in Höchst – along with a great social meeting culture over coffee or wine. "In the age of social media, we want to revitalize the social meeting culture," explains Eitel Reitz. He achieves this every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday morning: these are market days in the Frankfurt district of Höchst. Since 1955, the weekly market has also included a covered market hall; here, Reitz runs his market café on those mornings. It’s a great place for many residents of Höchst to start their market shopping with a shared coffee; many market vendors are also regular customers – some even have their own cup in the market café. With around 50 stalls, the Höchst market is Frankfurt's second-largest weekly market. The other delicatessen and wine shops in the market hall are also very popular for immediate enjoyment. It is explicitly allowed: buy a few treats from each stall and create your ideal market breakfast!
