Weekly Market Sachsenhausen

In front of the Südbahnhof, there’s a market twice a week offering fruits and more – and on Tuesdays, you can even find homemade pasta on-site. At Diesterwegplatz in front of the Frankfurt Südbahnhof, there’s plenty of fresh produce available on Tuesdays and Fridays: At around a dozen stalls, fresh fruits, vegetables, and more are sold at the weekly market. The market is particularly popular among commuters, who stop by in the morning for a filled roll for breakfast or quickly pick up ingredients for dinner on their way home in the evening. On Tuesdays, you can get handmade pasta from "Kalena Pasta" served warm with a selection of sauces; we also recommend the Arancini – fried rice balls filled with, for example, ragù or spinach and ricotta.
