We are all children or grandchildren of parents whose lives have been shaped in some way by the consequences of the Second World War. Free from accusation, Julia Höfler tells how her family became wealthy through the patent on a plastic hand grenade. In sudden flashbacks, her ancestors come to life. She particularly brings to light the fates of the women in her family. With a lively narrative tone, humor, a lot of physical engagement, and song, she takes the audience on a deep and moving journey from which they return changed and strengthened. The premiere took place in Nantes (France) in March 2019 in French (Publisher: Les Mandarines), and in the summer of 2019, it had its German-language premiere at the Hin & Weg theater festival in Waldviertel.
