The Feuerkogel in the Höllengebirge offers a variety of options for ski tours and natural descents. There are marked routes for beginners and advanced skiers, providing ideal opportunities to get started with ski touring.

The Feuerkogel Ski School offers a free guided ski tour with state-certified mountain and ski guides to experience this unique natural adventure. The ascent with the Feuerkogel cable car is at 8:15 AM on each date, with the meeting point and start of the tour at 9:00 AM at the ski school. Afterwards, you can rent equipment from the ski school located at the cable car mountain station or be greeted by your tour guide. REGISTRATION for the free guided ski tours in 2026 is required at https://skischule-feuerkogel.at/tourenskilauf.

Participation and guidance on the introductory tour is free; costs are incurred for transportation via the cable car: cable car ticket or for the ski touring ticket (equipment and cable car ticket included): combo touring ticket.

Complete equipment for adults and children can be rented by reservation. You reserve the equipment at the ski school and purchase the ticket at the Feuerkogel cable car valley station.
