**Still Rockin' Hard Tour 2026**

**NAZARETH on a major European tour:** They belong to the first generation of hard & heavy bands and have significantly shaped the style of hard rock since their founding in 1968, alongside bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, and Black Sabbath. With over 60 million records sold, they are (along with Simple Minds) the most successful rock band in Scotland of all time. In other words: NAZARETH is among the greats of their genre!

When the rock legends roll into European cities again on their Still Rockin' Hard Tour to rock classics like "This Flight Tonight," "Expect No Mercy," "Hair Of The Dog," "Dream On," or "Love Hurts," we will not only be transported back to the good old days of the wild 70s, but we will also experience a band up close that, after over 55 years, still brims with enthusiasm and is well-prepared for the future. Nazareth is one of the few bands from the early days of hard rock that has managed to maintain their originality and assert themselves in the tough music business to this day. With the new tour motto "Still Rockin' Hard," they unmistakably set the direction: fans can look forward to a show filled with all the hits and top-notch power rock as always!

Additionally, singer and frontman Carl Sentance is celebrating his 10th anniversary with Nazareth this year! Throughout their over 55-year career, Nazareth has always been a true live band. However, due to the enforced pandemic pause, it is even more significant for Nazareth to finally celebrate together with their fans again, especially since they successfully used the "live abstinence" to produce their 25th studio album "Surviving The Law." So, don’t miss out: the founding fathers of rock are on their eagerly anticipated European tour in 2026, also featuring some new songs from the current album. Rock fans worldwide appreciate the aggressive stage show and the down-to-earth, proper demeanor of the musicians. This is something to look forward to again in spring 2026 in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

Nazareth is undoubtedly regarded as the most significant rock band from Scotland. They were the pioneers who made Scottish rock internationally known and paved the way for many other great Scottish bands like Big Country, Simple Minds, and many more. From 1971 to the present, Nazareth has recorded 25 studio albums and released several live albums. The band has received various platinum, gold, and silver awards worldwide, including 3 platinum and 8 gold albums from Canada alone. Their mega-hit "Love Hurts," which still sets the standard for a rock ballad today, reached the top 10 in nearly all charts worldwide, hitting number 1 in six countries and remaining in the Norwegian charts for 60 weeks.

Conventional, cleanly played hard rock with a melodically plaintive vocal style has been Nazareth's trademark for 58 years now! The band from near Edinburgh was founded by Dan McCafferty (vocals), Manny Carlton (guitar), Pete Agnew (bass), and Darrel Sweet (drums). The core of the band remained together for over 20 years. During these two decades, Nazareth proved to be a solid and perfectly coordinated live formation, boasting a dozen top hits and five bestselling albums. Millions of hits like "Love Hurts," "This Flight Tonight," and "Dream On" became milestones in rock music, and the band emerged as one of the most influential hard rock formations of the 70s and 80s. Later legends like Guns N' Roses and Metallica count Nazareth among their most important influences. When Richie Blackmore was looking for a successor for the ousted Ian Gillan at Deep Purple in 1973, he first asked Nazareth's frontman for a joint performance and was flatly turned down.

The current lineup consists of:
- Jimmy Murrison (the longest-serving Nazareth guitarist in the band's history),
- Lee Agnew (drummer since Darrell Sweet's death in 1999),
- Pete Agnew (bass and founding member, original as long as he can remember),
- Carl Sentance (vocals since late 2015 - his first complete year was 2016).
