Visitors can look forward to 11 bands over 2 days and a comprehensive supporting program. This includes the popular children's program and a coffee & cake buffet. At the established "Frühschoppen" on Saturday, attendees can enjoy "Kesselheisse" accompanied by live folk music. Local restaurateurs will provide the culinary offerings on both festival days, including vegetarian and vegan alternatives.
What is the Kunstmue Festival? Since 2003, this intergenerational festival has delighted young and old with free admission, becoming a staple in the cultural landscape of Bad Goisern and its surroundings. The guests include not only festival enthusiasts but also families and music fans of all ages.
The two-day music festival is organized entirely by volunteers, with a strong emphasis on showcasing local talent and providing them with a platform. Drinks and snacks are offered at fair prices, and camping is free. At the Kunstmue Festival, the focus is on the festival experience and the music!
Where does the festival take place? As the name suggests, the "Kunstmue" takes place at the site of the former Kunstmühle, next to the refreshing Traun River in Bad Goisern. On-site parking, camping options, and a limited number of caravan spots are available. Those arriving by public transport can reach the festival grounds within a few minutes on foot.
