**English Translation by Danijel Elburg**

After 20 years of marriage, there is no longer any sunshine and roses for Debbie and Peter. Then Elsa Jean Krakowski announces her visit for a week. Debbie has no idea what to make of this intrusion. She quickly googles her name and is taken aback. What does she have to read? Elsa Jean Krakowski is said to have killed several people!

Debbie and Peter escape their everyday life with their teenage children and treat themselves to a little cruise. Everyone is relaxed, and they meet nice people. Among them is Elsa Jean Krakowski, a very entertaining woman who, despite her misfortunes – her husband is dead – keeps her spirits up. They promise to keep in touch and visit each other. For Debbie and Peter, this is as easily said as it is quickly forgotten. But not for Elsa.

Well, the short trip hasn’t changed anything at home. Son Alex is notoriously grumpy and glued to the computer. Daughter Rosie thinks she is the center of the universe and is in a constant state of outrage. And after 20 years of marriage, things are not all sunshine and roses for Debbie and Peter either. Then Elsa Jean Krakowski announces her visit for a week. Debbie has no idea what to make of this intrusion. She quickly googles her name and is taken aback. What does she have to read? Elsa Jean Krakowski is said to have killed several people! The media report extensively on the suspicion. They just haven’t been able to prove the murders against her. Panic sets in. Didn’t Elsa talk about death in almost every second sentence? For once, Peter and Debbie agree that they urgently need to uninvite Elsa.

Then the doorbell rings. Elsa is at the door, two days earlier than announced. And just like that, she’s inside…

The question in this crime comedy by Steven Moffat is not who did it, but who will be next? One punchline chases the next in this wonderfully wicked and absurdly funny story – black English humor at its best. The author is also the award-winning writer of the "Sherlock" series with Benedict Cumberbatch and "Dr. Who."
