NEW OHR LINZ DIXIEBAND

Since 1995, the New Ohr Linz Dixieband has been a valued musical presence in Austria and Southern Germany. The six experienced musicians all hail from Upper Austria, which they humorously reflected in the choice of their band name. When selecting their music pieces, they like to transcend the narrow boundaries of Dixie and occasionally swing to Elvis, Udo Jürgens, Klezmer, or even a Wachau wine song. This results in a lively, never monotonous evening of music full of joy and exuberance.

Beer Region New Orleans

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, New Orleans was the brewing center of the American South. Historical breweries like the Jax and Dixie Brewing Company were always closely tied to the local culture. Although there were significant setbacks during the years of Prohibition and later due to Hurricane Katrina, today there is once again a vibrant brewing scene in New Orleans with many craft beer breweries. In contrast to their counterparts in Louisiana, the private breweries in the Innviertel beer region have a significantly longer beer tradition, but the swing and Dixie music from New Orleans fits perfectly with the various creations of the local brewers.
