In the Kalkalpen National Park, the forests develop largely without human intervention. A natural biodiversity emerges, and trees are allowed to grow old again. Decaying trunks provide food and shelter for forest organisms and serve as an ideal seedbed for young saplings. Gain insights into the exciting formation of a primeval forest of tomorrow. Requirements: The guided tours on fixed dates are reserved for private individuals. Groups of 10 or more, companies, schools, or other organizations are asked to contact the respective visitor center.
