Hotzenwald Repair Café in Herrischried

Our Repair Café is held at the **Herrischried Community School**. Here, we take care of your treasured items that might still be salvageable with a little repair work. A team of skilled, dedicated volunteers is here to offer advice and assistance, helping to restore broken everyday items. The service is free of charge—however, we would greatly appreciate a voluntary donation to support our work. Repair hours are from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The deadline for accepting items for repair is 5:00 PM. During this time, we handle various minor repairs, including small electrical appliances, small pieces of furniture, textiles, bicycles, and knife sharpening. Simple repairs to cell phones are also available, provided a repair is possible. While you wait, you can make yourself comfortable in a pleasant atmosphere. Coffee and cake will be provided to keep you well-fed and entertained, ensuring your time is spent in a fun and sociable way. We look forward to welcoming many visitors, to many interesting encounters, and to setting an example together for sustainability and helping people help themselves—because every repaired item is a small contribution to a better world.
