Local Incense Plants and Seasonal Festivals

Each season has its own unique quality. Many local incense plants can help us open ourselves to the insights and needs of the respective time. The time of ripening and harvest has come. Grains, fruits, and berries have gathered solar energy and nutrients over the summer, and our ancestors knew how much power lies within these treasures. Herbs from the orchards are now being harvested and dried for storage for incense rituals and as a home pharmacy. We will also bind healing wild and garden herbs into decorative and useful "herb bundles."
