On June 27 and 28, 2026, endurance athletes and fans of triathlon will once again get their money's worth. In Zell am See-Kaprun, the TriZell, an internationally attended triathlon, will take place for the 36th time. Participants will have to complete 1.5 kilometers of swimming, 40 kilometers of cycling, and 10 kilometers of running for the Olympic distance. In the sprint distance, athletes will cover 750 meters in the water, 20 kilometers on the bike, and 5 kilometers on the running course. This year, both the start and finish areas will be located in and around the Thumersbach beach area, with views of the center of Zell am See, the Schmittenhöhe, and the Kitzsteinhorn.
