"Home Game - Brass Spectacular"

The brass band led by Günther Reisegger since 2020 recently achieved a sensational 5th place with their own choice piece at the European Brass Band Championships 2025 in Stavanger, placing them among the world elite. As the reigning Austrian champion, the highlight will be the EBBC 2026 in their home country – a home game at the Brucknerhaus Linz, which will be celebrated afterwards in Bad Schallerbach.

Brass Spectacular
The Brass Band Upper Austria was founded in 2002 and is a project of the Upper Austrian State Music School. The participants are mostly teachers and students or orchestral musicians from Upper Austria. Since 2020, MD Günther Reisegger has been leading the Brass Band OÖ with great dedication and has participated with the band in the EBBC 2022 in Birmingham, 2024 in Palanga, and 2025 in Stavanger, where they achieved the sensational 5th place with their own choice piece, placing them among the world elite. As the reigning Austrian champion, the highlight will be the EBBC 2026 in their home country at the Brucknerhaus Linz. Günther Reisegger has already won the Austrian Nationals 3 times (2022, 2023, 2024). Additionally, there are fantastic concerts planned for 2026 in Ossiach, Innsbruck, Linz, Salzburg, and in Bad Schallerbach with the program "Home Game – Brass Spectacular," where the band will premiere several commissioned compositions and showcase outstanding soloists.
