Exhibition "Querlandein" - a tribute to Walter Schweinöster

The "Querschläger" from Lungau will frame the evening.
Walter Schweinöster (2019†) significantly shaped the Austrian media landscape over the decades as a photographer for KURIER and SN. Whether on the political stage, at traditional festivals, or at the local pub, his images are strong and pointed; touching, symbolic, and original. Always with his camera, he captured an incredible number of details of life, leaving behind a vast treasure of both analog and digital photos.
The painter from Pinzgau, originally from St. Martin, was also highly active. He drew immensely from his creativity. This small cross-section of the exhibition brings this artist back to memory.
