Born with the impeccably well-behaved identity of a Upper Austrian, Klaus Oppitz discovered early on the need to tell stories from more exciting realities. Oppitz was responsible for the books of the ORF satire "Wir sind Kaiser" for 12 years and is the author of the satirical novels "Auswandertag" and "Landuntergang" (Residenz Verlag), as well as the thriller "Die Hinrichtung des Martin P." (Kremayr & Scheriau).
