Night flea market organized by the Seegockel carnival guild on the Häfler waterfront promenade

The flea market kicks off with many stalls on Friday evening. Bargain hunters can enjoy themselves for nearly 24 hours, from late into the night and starting early Saturday morning. The traditional night flea market organized by the Narrenzunft Seegockel is drawing visitors to the waterfront promenade again this year. The stalls will offer all sorts of bric-a-brac, everyday items and household goods, clothing, toys, and much more. The Seegockel Carnival Guild will provide refreshments on both days with a sausage and beverage cart and, on Saturday, coffee and cake as well. In addition, other stalls will be scattered throughout the market grounds. Starting around April, stall spaces can be reserved online via the website of the Seegockel Verein zur Pflege des Volkstums e.V. If any stall spaces are still available, they can be booked on-site on Friday starting at 4 p.m. or on Saturday starting at 6 a.m. Setup begins on Friday at 5:30 p.m. A special sales area is reserved for children. The stalls in this area are free of charge. However, no tables, umbrellas, etc., may be set up there. The exact regulations can be found in the flea market rules.
